Equilaw Harkon 1999 17.h imported Holsteiner gelding by Heraldik/Tbris bred by Lill Otto. Originally imported and bred to be a jumper, Harkon had other ideas about his career path. His inauspicious jumping career ended abruptly as he deposited both his owner/rider, Steve, and several professionals in the dirt time after time. Harkon and Lauren Chumley became a team in 2008 as Steve’s friend, Mindy Elgart, suggested dressage training in an effort to prolong Steve’s time on earth. With Lauren, Harkon won numerous Regional Championship placings at First, Second, Third, PSG, and I-1 levels. He placed in the top three at Dressage at Devon at Fourth level in 2010 and a BLM Championship at Second level in 2009. They went on to show successfully through Intermediare I while schooling the Grand Prix movements, at which point, Steve took over the reins. In 2014 Steve and Harkon won the ESDCTA Adult Amateur Challenge award at the Memorial Weekend show. Steve earned his USDF Bronze medal with Harkon in 2014. The pair is currently working towards the PSG level. Harkon has also helped several of Lauren’s working students earn scores towards their USDF medals.

‘JJ’ was purchased by Steve as a foal from Mo Swanson’s Rolling Stone Farm to be Steve and Lauren’s next project to bring up the levels. In his first full year under saddle, JJ qualified and competed in the Regional Championships at both Training and First levels. In 2016, he won the Four Year Old Colt/Gelding Under Saddle class amidst some very solid competition. JJ consistently scores in the 70%s at first level and in February of 2017 he made his Second level debut at only five years old. JJ’s 2017 goals include qualifying for Regional Championships at First and Second levels and also participating in the USEF/Markel Young Horse program in the FEI 5 year old division. JJ has twice (2016 and 2017) been selected by USEF Dressage Young Horse coach Christine Traurig for the invitation-only USEF Young Horse training sessions. We’re very excited about the future of this top quality young sport horse.

WE WILL SEE is ranked among the best of the best. During his racing career, WE WILL SEE competed against and beat many great horses. He has had 12 sub-1:50 winning miles.
WE WILL SEE’s has many notable wins which include The Canadian Pacing Derby at Mohawk, where he set a stakes record, The US Pacing Championship at the Meadowlands, where he set a world record, The Allerage at The Red Mile, the Ben Franklin at Harrah’s Chester, and the Mohawk Gold Cup.
WE WILL SEE received his 2-year-old mark by winning The Keystone Classic at The Meadows in 1:52.3. As a 3-year-old, WE WILL SEE got his 3-year-old mark of 1:49.0 by winning the North America Cup Elimination. He won the PASS Championship.
In 2011, at 4, WE WILL SEE earned his lifetime mark of 1:47.2 by winning the US Pacing Championship and equaled the world record for 4-year-olds on a mile track. He also set a world record of 1:48.0 at Pocono Downs. WE WILL SEE was declared the fastest pacer in North America in 2011 at 1:47.2.
